Turkey Cheeseburger Dip

Imagine taking the best parts of your burger and mixing it together into a delicious dip! Yes! This cheesy dip is the perfect addition to any get together! Maybe even a Super Bowl?

1. Spray skillet with cooking spray and brown turkey over medium heat.

2. Add diced tomatoes, green chiles and evaporated milk. Bring to a simmer.

3. Add cheese, mustard, hot sauce, cornstarch, salt and pepper. Stir in all ingredients until all cheese is melted.

4. Remove from heat and stir in the green onions. Serve immediately with your choice of chip.

ingredients:

  • ½ lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup canned diced tomatoes with chiles (Rotel)
  • 1 can diced green chiles
  • ½ cup evaporated milk
  • 2 cup reduced fat shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Frank’s Red Hot sauce
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • ½ cup green onions, chopped

instructions:

  1. Spray skillet with cooking spray and brown turkey over medium heat.
  2. Add diced tomatoes, green chiles and evaporated milk. Bring to a simmer.
  3. Add cheese, mustard, hot sauce, cornstarch, salt and pepper. Stir in all ingredients until all cheese is melted.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the green onions. Serve immediately with your choice of chip.

NOTES:

* I used ground turkey to make the dish a little healthier. Feel free to use ground beef instead.
